John Van Sedars
John van Saders is an Advisor and Mentor to TechX and its customers and tech companies and has a 30+ year career in semiconductor design, manufacturing and new product development. John is providing guidance on the multi-faceted process to conceive, prototype, validate value, and manufacture Tech Hardware and IoT new products to market working directly supporting the efforts of TechX Foundry, its partners and customers.
John currently serves as ANADIGICS Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Office since June 2013. Prior to his current role, Mr. van Saders was Executive Vice President of Quality and Design Technology since August 2012, and served as Senior Vice President – RF Products since March 28, 2011. He re-joined ANADIGICS in 2007 as Vice President, Advanced Development, where he was responsible for mixed signal design, CAD, and foundry. Beginning in 2001, he served as the Vice President, Engineering and Manufacturing for ASIP, an optoelectronics startup which later merged with T-Networks. His responsibilities included product and business development, InP wafer fab construction and operation, process development, reliability, and establishing all manufacturing operations. He originally joined ANADIGICS in 1990 as a design engineer, serving in several management and executive product development positions. Prior to joining ANADIGICS, he was a Principle Investigator at Lockheed Electronics developing acousto-optic processing for adaptive phased array systems. He began his career developing line-of-sight laser communication links at Codenoll Technology.
Mr. van Saders earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (Communication Theory) from NJIT and holds a Bachelors degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in Optical Physics. He has several patents in circuit design and optical processing, and has authored a number of technical publications.
